FAQ
How do you photograph weddings?
I love helping you be as stress free as possible before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organize which photos, moments, details, and the different lighting you really want in your finished gallery. On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That's why I aim to photograph non-traditional and laid-back weddings.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Winchester, VA, and I definitely love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on how close to Winchester it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to be there because I love the way my creativity is developed when I discover new places. I don't want that to be a make or break for you.
When will we get our photos?
For weddings and engagements, you will receive an online gallery link with all the unedited proofs within 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). As a rule I like to send a few sneak peaks either the day of or in the few days following your day, these are free for your use and aren`t included in your final gallery. You will then select your favorites that you want in your final gallery (The number of which will depend on the package you select). I will edit those captures and send you your final gallery within 8 weeks (again depending on the season it may be faster or longer). You can then download all the photos from that gallery, share them, choose more specific favorites, and even order prints!
For all other sessions, you will receive a proof gallery to pick your favorites within a week of your session. After you pick your favorites I am usually able to deliver the final gallery within 2 weeks, depending on the season. Your gallery will also come with downloading or printing options.
How many pictures will we receive?
Each Wedding Package is different. For example: If you choose the Start to Finish coverage package, you will receive 500 to 600 of your favorites to be fully edited and delivered in a final gallery with printing and downloading options. Each package has a slightly different number of photos you're allowed to choose, so I let you choose the best and most significant images to tell your story in the final gallery.
All other sessions have the number of final images in your gallery detailed above.
